As a community, we are probably the only one of its kind that connects on a daily basis to crowdsource ways to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Because of this, we are given the opportunity to do specific things that help in specific ways.
One of the most inspiring stories that we support is that of Christian Sobrepeña and his son, Ian. Christian needs a Compact Utility Bike, very similar to our own cargo bike but designed to carry people for a special purpose.
Christian needs to bring his son regularly from his home in San Mateo, Rizal all the way to Pasig for cerebral palsy therapy. They used to ride a standard bicycle with a carrier but Ian has now outgrown it and they need a better and safer way to get to the SPED center for the therapy sessions.
They need to raise a good amount of money (P30,000) to pay for the cost of building the bicycle they need. If you’d like to take the chance to support, sponsor, or help organize a way to raise money for this very important need – WE NEED YOU SUPPORT!
The Bike Scouts Project commits to the promise that 100% of donations for projects go directly to the projects they are meant for.
