If you happen to ride through Brgy. Muzon in La Poblacion, City of San Jose del Monte in Bulacan, Philippines (just north of Metro Manila) you can check out Lola Mat’s Food Hub owned by Bike Scout Ryan Espiritu. They serve local snack food and refreshments!

New Year Avenue is one of the favorite climbs of cyclists based around San Pedro, Laguna. It features a short steep section followed by another short sustained climb on Fr. Masi Street that ends at the top of a hill called South Peak (name is from the private subdivision at the same location). From here cyclists can descend to the South Road in San Pedro that leads to Alabang to the north or Calamba in the south. Another option is to ride to Victoria and on to Daang-Hari Road that has acess to Alabang and Tagaytay as well. —Bike Scouts Team
